Armored Vehicles
Definition
A vehicle reinforced to resist ballistic, explosive, or physical threats while transporting the Principal.
Armored vehicles matter because they can increase survivability during certain attacks, especially small-arms fire or targeted assault. However, they are not a complete solution and should never replace route planning, security awareness, and professional driving.
Armor changes the vehicle. Additional weight affects braking, acceleration, tire load, suspension, steering response, center of gravity, visibility, fuel consumption, and maneuverability. The security driver must understand these changes before operating the vehicle with a Principal inside.
